This collaboration leverages new authorizations for international chip sales, with the GB300 chips prohibited from being sold to Chinese-affiliated entities but approved for sale to the United Arab Emirates, specifically to HUMAIN, under strict security and reporting requirements. Tareq Amid, CEO of HUMAIN, sees this as a significant step forward: "The AI factory AWS is building in our new AI Zone represents the beginning of a multi-gigawatt journey for HUMAIN and AWS. From inception, this infrastructure has been engineered to serve both the accelerating local and global demand for AI compute."
